PARISH LIFE

PARISH LIFE

Sacred Heart Church serves the people of God within the city of Edinburg, TX. The parish receives its name from the devotion of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Therefore, the whole community entrusts itself to the patronage of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

The parish offers daily Mass for the local community Monday through Friday. Then, the parish offers weekend Masses on Saturday & Sunday. The parish centers itself around the celebration of Holy Mass. The heart of the parish is the Eucharist.

Sacred Heart offers a variety of ways to participate in the life of the community. Members can become part of a liturgical ministry: Choir, Lector, Altar Server, or Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.

We also provide opportunities to serve by visiting the homebound, serving the poor, volunteering at the food pantry, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Other opportunities include serving as a catechist, youth ministry, men’s & women’s groups. Consider these opportunities and get involved!
